Why does this little chocolate face look so pleased with himself?

It must be because he somehow managed to sneak the following into his mouth:

If you're not too disgusted take a little bit of a look. That is EIGHT whoppers in various states of mastication. We had friends over playing and they very generously shared their whoppers with us. I gave Beckett two to start. He seemed to have ceased chewing so I gave him two more in the obviously vain hope that his innate sense of self preservation would stop him from shoving them all into his mouth at once. I should have know better since he regularly tries to shove entire pieces of bread or whole chicken nuggets into his mouth. Then he must have raided the box on his own to make up the rest of this pile. Now you know why the picture is so blurry. I couldn't get little sugar high to hold still. He was quite good natured about spitting them out. Evidently just getting them all in there and sucking the chocolate off was enough of an accomplishment.
