Go Shorty, It's Your Birthday...

We're gonna party like, it's your birthday, and you know we don't care that much that it's not your birthday! Beckster had a birthday party in the park on Saturday. We all had lots of fun partying with Beckett. First we tried putting a hat on Beckett. As you can see he was really excited about the hat.

Then we tried putting Beckett and Haylie in prison. That worked pretty well.

Dawnell baked lots of little tiny cakes, then we placed them upon pedestals.

Hurry up Beckett, we're ready to eat cake!

Yea party in the park!!!!

Beckett got stuff that we'd already bought months ago because we spoil him too much. Dawnell got a nice Beckettversary present though, which hopefully will lead to higher quality visuals on our blog posts.

And now those of you who weren't there can pretend that you were right there singing right along with us...

Beckett is a YEAR old!!

It's hard to believe, but this tiny little baby:

Has turned into this big boy who pulls himself up on the furniture, gets an attitude and says, "No NO Dada" when he doesn't want his face washed and wiggles his fingers on my hand and says, "Ickle, ickle, ickle." (That's tickle tickle tickle for those of you who don't speak Beckett.)

And in case some of you needed more proof, here's a picture from his baby book of his feet on the day he was born and today, his first birthday.

How to: Eat a Nilla Wafer

Step one: Grab Nilla Wafer from daddy.

Step two: Stick entire Nilla Wafer in mouth.

Step three: Smile!

The house that Beckett built

Beckett's been a little upset at the at the impending demolition of Yankee Stadium. So in order to help him through his trauma he decided to wear his Yankee hat. And predictably he looked really adorable in it.
