Happy Birthday and More Twins!

The Twins have been getting all of the attention lately, but this little trooper has been handling things great. He loves his new brothers a lot. After going through a relatively "normal" birth,* we think back to the difficult birth of Ciaran, which happened a couple of months early on this day two years ago. My tiny little Boodle is doing great now, as you can see from the picture below. Always happy and smiling, except when he's screaming for more cracker fish (goldfish crackers for those who don't speak Ciaranese). So Happy 2nd Birthday Ciaran, we'll try to carve out some time to celebrate!

*Actually, Dawnell was famous in the maternity ward for her "normal" birth, but I'll let her tell the story in more detail if she wants to do so, since she did for the first two.

Well, the twins are home. If only they could learn to sleep at the same time at night I think we'd be doing okay. Here are some more pics of the babies:

Here's old what's his face getting ready to go home. We'll call him Lachlan and change the post if Dawnell tells me I was wrong.

Here's that one dude. Again, we'll go with Aidric unless told otherwise.

While they were in the hospital the boys shared one of those nursery cribs. This was precious and adorable, but also made for some cramped quarters, as the picture below makes clear...

However, now they have the luxury of sharing their huge crib together, complete with homemade quilts as decoration (thanks Grandma)

Beckett also loves his new brothers and is always looking for ways to help. Here he is with both of them, which is convenient, since now I don't have to try to figure out which is which.

  2. Holy cow, Lachlan looks so much like Beckett as a baby (to me anyway, people always tell me their opinions of my babies, sometimes I agree, sometimes I don't, so maybe I'm way off here!). So cute, and happy birthday Ciaran!! What a great big brother!

  3. Where is my COMMENT?

I commented a long time ago but am back to look for more...have you gotten them confused yet Chris? I think I would have to have one of them tattooed just in case, I'd be so afraid of mixing them up.

    Hope things are going well...
