As a nod to all you faithful blog followers I thought I wouldn't make you wait until the end of the day when Chris got home to know what was going on. Still nothing. And now enough time has passed that I need a new manicure. Maybe I'll go do that. I have to do something. Sitting around the house is driving me crazy.
At this rate I'm either going to miss Chris' swearing in to the bar or my mom is going to miss the baby. This sucks and I'm pissed off. If you dare to call me you better not have any "suggestions" about how to get this baby born or ask if I've had him yet. I am not a happy camper. It's best to just wait until I call you.
Dear Dawnell,
ReplyDeleteJust know that we are all behind you 100%. I don't blame you for feeling cranky. Maybe Beckett will be a laid back little soul, it looks like he definately has his own agenda. It will all be worth it in the end. My grandma Youngberg once told me that instaed of praying for patience, I should pray for obedient children. When you pray for patience, God sends trials that will teach you patience. Just a little thought...
Oh Dawnell, I am so sorry, when does your mom leave? I wont call, and I wont tease you about seeing you at chruch on sunday. I will however be checking in on the blog, about 15 times a day to see 'waz up with beckett!!
ReplyDeletePoor Dawnell! Waiting is the worst. At least you have a pretty day today to go for a walk or something. I don't have any suggestions on how to make the baby come anyway, but I am really good at passing time if you need some tips.

I know this won't help, but I feel your pain. He will be worth the wait just as his excessively late cousin was (who, by the way, I vowed to spank the second he was born for all the trouble he caused!)
ReplyDeleteNo advice; just my sympathy.
ReplyDeleteHi Dawnell- You have every right to be in a bad mood- It's just time for him to come!!! Well if Chris is busy, you and your mom can come up anytime and visit :-)
ReplyDeleteYou deserve to be grumpy. I'm with Elise: no advise, just my sympathy.
ReplyDeleteAre you still pregnant? Haven't you had that baby yet? Any longer and he's going to come out walking! My, you are big! Are you having twins? Just some of the lovely comments I received when in the last stage of pregnancy. People should realize that very pregnant women are capable of violence. I reserve the right to call you everyday and ask if you're still pregnant. But only because I live on the other side of the country! Love you to bits!
ReplyDeletefirst borns can be so stubborn - what about reverse psychology - tell him you don't want to see him at all - that life without diaper changes will just be better - that he isn't invited out...really, there is no advice - only jokes - or tears - which ever seems more cathartic at the moment.
